Kingston, who is due to defend his WWE Championship at this Sunday's pay-per-view Stomping Grounds, admitted that it would be a dream to test himself against the owner of WWE and his offspring, saying:-

"I would love to fight Shane, and I would love to get Vince in the ring, too."

When asked about the controversial current storyline which sees Shane heavily featured on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live, Kofi seemed to go against recent reports which suggested backstage unrest, stating:-

"I think it’s really cool that Shane is in this role of walking the line of an authoritative figure, but, at the same time, is an active superstar."

The current WWE Champion faces Dolph Ziggler in a Steel Cage match this weekend after a contestable win over The Showoff at Super ShowDown, but seems to have his heart set on a showdown with Shane, concluding:-

"Shane does some pretty crazy things in the ring, as you see in every single match that he has, so I would love to mix it up with him."
