AEW's Kris Statlander decided to get imprints from the bed of nails she landed on at last year's Blood & Guts special tattooed on her body. No, that is not a joke. Statlander revealed this news during an interview with the Daily Star. According to the former Women's Champion, this baffles company doctors every single time.

They constantly think she's been cut during matches when checking Stat over, so she has to explain that it's just ink. In fairness to the docs, even Kris herself has said that the red scarring looks authentic. That's exactly what she wanted - she must've strolled into the tattoo studio and said: 'I'd like to look like I've just been turned into mince meat, people'.

Statlander says it's "funny" that medics react the same way whenever they see the ink in question. Her plan? Memorialise a spot from the 12 November 2025 edition of Dynamite. There, Kris teamed with Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron, Jamie Hayter, Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa, but lost out to Mercedes Mone, Marina Shafir, Megan Bayne, Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue.

At one point during the ultra-violent clash, Shafir tossed Kris onto the aforementioned bed of nails and left her back all torn up. Statlander was so hyped up about working the spot that she decided to have a reminder permanently etched on her body afterwards.

Maybe Mick Foley missed a trick by never getting his war wounds from high profile matches like Hell In A Cell vs. The Undertaker or that Royal Rumble 2000 'Street Fight' opposite Triple H tattooed on his frame.
