Could Kurt Angle end up managing Gable Steveson? The WWE Hall of Famer isn't ruling it out.

Speaking during an appearance on NBC Sports Boston (as per Wrestling Inc.), Angle stated how it's "not out of the question" for him to become the on-screen manager of his fellow Olympic gold medallist.

On the subject of Steveson, Kurt had nothing but praise for the 22-year-old, labelling him an "amazing talent" who WWE "can do a lot with". Angle also cited Gable's charisma and stated how "he would do extremely well if the company pushed him".

Of course, Steveson is yet to have his first official WWE match as of this writing.

Following a brief appearance at SummerSlam 2021, the two-time NCAA Division I Champion formally signed with WWE that September. October '21 then saw Steveson assigned to the Raw brand as part of the latest WWE Draft, and he was in attendance for WrestleMania 38 - where he gave a suplex to Chad Gable on Night 2 after Alpha Academy and the Street Profits had unsuccessfully challenged for the Raw Tag Team Titles then held by RK-Bro.

This isn't the first time the possibility of Kurt Angle managing a talent has come up, with him having previously been offered the chance to come in and manage Riddle once the Original Bro moved to the main roster. On top of that, the idea of Angle mentoring American Alpha was also something that was discussed but ultimately didn't happen.
