Kurt Angle was one of those guys who didn't need a belt to feel special or look badass, but that didn't stop him from having some of the best World Championship reigns of his time.

No matter if he was playing a goofy milk-drinking character, a badass persona, 'Sexy Kurt' or 'The Wrestling Machine', Angle always found a way to turn everything he touched to gold.

Angle's reigns are memorable for his absolutely incredible matches with the likes of The Rock, Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, The Undertaker, Chris Benoit and many others. It wasn't only inside the ropes where Angle made his presence felt, however, having taken part in some of the most entertaining segments ever, particularly in his feud with Brock Lesnar in 2003.

We'll take you back through some of 'The Olympic Hero's best moments as WWE Heavyweight Champion, and perhaps some you might have forgotten - like a run with the WCW strap!

With that said, grab a glass of milk, sit back and enjoy as we take a look back at Kurt Angle's reigns as World Champion in WWE and rank them from worst to best...

6. WCW Championship (2nd) 24 July 2001 - 30 July 2001

When thinking of Kurt Angle as a World Champion, one would probably think of him as WWE Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, TNA Champion, IWGP Champion or a Gold Medal winner. But yes, Kurt Angle was also the WCW Champion for a cup of coffee.

During the Invasion angle in 2001, more specifically during Angle's feud with Steve Austin over the WWF Title, he randomly defeated Booker T to capture the (sort of) prestigious WCW Big Gold Belt on an episode of SmackDown.

Just a number of days later, however, in a rematch on RAW, Booker won the strap back thanks to a Stunner courtesy of the leader of The Alliance, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin.

The matches these two would have at SummerSlam and Unforgiven were worth it in the end, but as far as the reign itself goes, there's really not much to talk about it, if anything at all.
