Just a couple of months after Angle's very brief run - if we can even call it a run - as WCW Champion, Kurt Angle captured his second WWF Championship, third World Title overall, from 'Stone Cold' in the main event of Unforgiven.

This reign happened mostly because of the attacks on 9/11, with the Olympic Gold Medalist playing the role of an American hero in order to put together a feel-good moment so soon after the tragedy.

The plan was never for Angle to keep the gold, however, and he dropped it back to 'The Rattlesnake' just a number of weeks later on an episode of RAW.

This was another very brief reign, but at least there was a reason for it to happen. And you can find a number of recommended Kurt Angle matches, with the likes of Austin and Rob Van Dam, which is more than enough to put it above his aforementioned WCW reign.
