Kyle O'Reilly claims he "needs some time to heal" following an angle on this week's episode of WWE NXT led to wild speculation on his medical status.

Attacked by former ally Adam Cole during the night's main event, O'Reilly was loaded onto a stretcher and taken out of the Capitol Wrestling Center after being suplexed onto the ring steps. Rumours that the former NXT TItle contender had suffered a seizure then spread like wildfire despite WWE never using this verbiage, leading to multiple reports stating, fortunately, that O'Reilly was fine.

With concern still ringing, Kyle tweeted the following updates on Thursday:-

The (former?) Undisputed Era man is clearly working in the second tweet. How much of his first tweet is reflective of his actual medical status is debatable, but we can at least ascertain from everything that's come out since Wednesday that KOR is doing a lot better than implied after the show.

While the stretcher job wasn't televised, O'Reilly was photographed by a fan in attendance at the Capitol Wrestling Center. Much of the concern came from this. Cole first turned on Kyle at TakeOver: Vengeance Day last week, Superkicking him and Finn Balor after Balor had defeated Pete Dunne, retaining the NXT Title.
