Kylie Rae Confirmed For NWA Debut
'Smiley Kylie' will team with Taryn Terrell for her NWA in-ring debut.
Former IMPACT Wrestling and AEW star Kylie Rae will return to the squared circle at this Saturday's When Our Shadows Fall pay-per-view for the National Wrestling Alliance. She'll team with Taryn Terrell to face Melina and Thunder Rosa.
Rae's appearance was announced as part of a video package for the pay-per-view, although there was no footage shot of her in advance; a PNG of her appeared instead.
This will mark Kylie's first match since the 13 October edition of IMPACT's AXS TV show, where she defeated Kimber Lee. This was used to build towards her Knockouts Championship challenge vs. Deonna Purrazzo at Bound For Glory later that month, although the Chicago native ending up being replaced by Su Yung on the night. Rae later revealed that she was no longer a professional wrestler.
It had previously been announced that 'Smiley Kylie' would be returning to the ring, defending her Warrior Wrestling Women's Championship against Thunder Rosa on 5 June, with the match since being pushed back to 21 August. Regardless, fans were hyped to see Kylie back.
