Lacey Evans & Natalya WWE Crown Jewel Attire Update
Confirmation on specialised gear for history-making match.
Lacey Evans and Natalya will both wear specially-adapted ring attire for their WWE Crown Jewel match, as confirmed by The Wrap's Tony Maglio.
In keeping with the country's very specific rules, rather than their typical ring gear, the pair will don bodysuits similar to those worn by Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss for their match in Abu Dhabi back in 2017.
Maglio noted that "WWE have been trying to have a woman's match in Saudi Arabia "since the first show", and that the chosen combatants "check every box". It was the last match added to yet another stacked Saudi card that will also feature Brock Lesnar defending the WWE Championship against Cain Velasquez, Bray Wyatt challenging Seth Rollins for his Universal Championship, and Braun Strowman taking on boxing star Tyson Fury.
The company confirmed the match during a pre-show press conference at the King Fahd International Stadium, following on from zero women working Greatest Royal Rumble, Renee Young commentating on last year's Crown Jewel, and Natalya and Alexa Bliss travelling to Saudi Arabia for Super Show-Down but not actually appearing on the show.
