Latest Backstage Update On Lars Sullivan
More on the newly-drafted SmackDown star...
After a weekend of making the headlines for all the wrong reasons, Lars Sullivan will apparently still feature heavily in WWE's plans going forward. So much so that feuds are being discussed beyond fellow members of the SmackDown roster where he'll officially call home from Friday.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE are still high on 'The Freak' and are looking towards a match pitting Sullivan against Braun Strowman at some point in the next year or so.
Plans change of course, but Sullivan will surely see this as a vote of confidence from bosses that could have taken a harder line on the latest indiscretions brought to light. 'The Monster Among Men' was drafted to Raw on last night's Draft edition of the show, meaning that such a contest couldn't theoretically occur without special circumstances forcing it through, such as a major pay-per-view or interaction around Survivor Series or Royal Rumble season.
Sullivan returned to television on last Friday's SmackDown, destroying The Miz, Jeff Hardy and Matt Riddle. He continued the destruction on Raw by decimating John Morrison, but as all four have now been drafted to Raw he will have to look elsewhere for his first feud on the blue brand.
