There's one very simple reason why WWE decided to book Roman Reigns vs. Logan Paul at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. That reason? The Saudi government.

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is a huge fan of Paul, and his government was willing to pay the company a shedload of cash to see Logan wrestle in the country as soon as humanly possible.

So, Triple H figured WWE might as well take the plunge and book LP vs. Roman for the upcoming Saudi supershow on 5 November. There, Paul will challenge Reigns for his Undisputed WWE Universal Title in the main event slot.

Dave Meltzer says the Saudi government is willing to spend a ton of cash to bring A-list celebrities to the country and thus make Saudi Arabia look like an entertainment hotbed. Prince Salman covets Logan Paul, so WWE has raked in serious moolah for this one bout.

Of course, this isn't the first time Saudi has boosted WWE's coffers. However, Meltzer claims that LP is viewed as a much bigger deal than most wrestling legends who have agreed to wrestle on stadium shows.
