Fightful Select is reporting that a rumoured "creative intervention meeting" hosted by Triple H and Nick Khan was shot down as "silly" by one WWE source.

The rumour mill suggested that both Trips and Khan planned to team up and tell Vince McMahon he should stop making remote changes to Raw and SmackDown scripts before shows. According to Fightful, that "intervention" was originally mooted for the 26 June episode of Raw, but didn't actually happen.

It doesn't look like any such meeting took place during last night's SmackDown either. Vince was in attendance, but spent the day in his own office. Meanwhile, Triple H controlled operations from his usual position behind the curtain.

Fightful's source in the company told them "there's no truth to it whatsoever". It's also been reported that both Hunter and Khan could only suggest something to McMahon - they "couldn't force him out" or make demands that he stop contributing creatively, basically.

Wrestlers Fightful spoke to also said that such a meeting would normally take place mid-week rather than right before a show, which makes sense. Everyone is obviously rather busy on TV days.
