AEW is set to finally conclude the Continental Classic tournament's rollout with a 'Selection Special' broadcasting on YouTube this Wednesday.

The promotion's 12-person round-robin tournament is due to commence on that night's episode of Dynamite. Despite this, AEW is yet to announce a single match, having revealed only four participants.

The Continental Classic Selection Special will see the full field revealed. Hosted by Tony Schiavone and AEW founder and CEO Tony Khan, it'll also feature interviews from the participants, ahead of the competition starting on Dynamite.

As announced by Khan on X:

The AEW Continental Classic's 12 wrestlers will be split into two groups of six, with each competitor wrestling everybody in their block once. Whoever wins the competition will inherit three titles as a Triple Crown Champion: the ROH World Championship, NJPW's STRONG Openweight Championship, and the new AEW Continental Championship.

Eddie Kingston announced he would be putting the ROH World and NJPW STRONG Openweight belts on the line in the tournament during last week's Full Gear 2023 pay-per-view. Joining Kingston in the tournament so far are Andrade El Idolo, Mark Briscoe, and Bryan Danielson.
