The All Elite Wrestling star was due to appear in a Florida court yesterday, having been charged with driving under influence (alcohol or drugs) for the third time within ten years, driving while license cancelled/suspended/revoked and violation of restrictions placed on driver's license. Hardy had been arrested in Volusia County, Florida at around 9:55 AM on 13 June.

If Jeff is convicted of the primary charge, which is considered a felony in Florida, he could face up to five years in prison. Hardy has pleaded not guilty to all charges - and has once again filed for his hearing to be moved back.

Per PWInsider, Jeff's pre-trial hearing will now take place on 17 November after prosecutors agreed to the request. A plea agreement may currently be in the works, as the motion states that "The parties require additional time to negotiate a potential pretrial resolution".

AEW indefinitely suspended Hardy without pay soon after his arrest. Company founder and CEO Tony Khan has stated that Jeff will only be allowed to return to AEW upon successful completion of an alcohol rehabilitation program.
