Ring Of Honor returns to pay-per-view with Death Before Dishonor 2022 this Saturday (23 July), but the Tony Khan-helmed promotion doesn't appear to be any closer to landing a television deal.

The AEW founder and president stated that he remains in talks with his home promotion's network partner, Warner Bros. Discovery, during yesterday's pre-Death Before Dishonor media call. Khan had no news to share but stressed the importance of landing a deal, adding that he won't agree on one until he finds a distribution agreement that's right for all involved parties.

Khan did, however, note that Death Before Dishonor airing on Bleacher Report was a step in the right direction.

DBD will be ROH's second pay-per-view since Khan's purchase of the cult promotion was announced in March. The first, Supercard Of Honor, took place in April, drawing considerable critical acclaim for such bouts as FTR vs. The Briscoes. DBD will potentially be highlighted by that rematch with a two-out-of-three falls stipulation, as well as AEW newcomer Claudio Castagnoli vs. ROH World Champion Jonathan Gresham.

ROH's previously weekly television show ceased when Khan bought the promotion from Sinclair Broadcasting, who had previously aired ROH content on their own network.
