In just his eighth WWE match, Paul toppled the Hall of Famer with the help of a pair of brass knuckles, similar to how he beat Ricochet at SummerSlam. Logan showed off his high wrestling aptitude, hanging with Mysterio and matching his aerial attacks.

The social media Maverick has been something of a prodigy in the ring since he debuted at WrestleMania 38, graduating from tag matches to several high-profile singles bouts, including an Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at last year's Crown Jewel.

Having a crossover star with such a large social media following hold your secondary title can only be a good thing for WWE, giving the company more mainstream exposure. While there might have been some fear about that a year ago, Paul has acquitted himself well in the ring and proven that he can hold his own in a match and on the mic. Thankfully, WWE realized quickly that trying to portray him as a babyface wasn't going to fly, and he's excelled ever since turning heel.

Whether this means Logan will be on WWE programming more frequently remains to be seen, but if he's going to remain a part-timer, that could present a problem for SmackDown, with Reigns holding the other men's singles title on the brand. That would suggest that Paul will at least be popping up on Friday nights a bit more often.
