WrestleVotes (via ewrestlingnews) is reporting that it's only a matter of time before fans see Stephanie Vaquer back on WWE television. In fact, 'La Primera' is scheduled to make her return "likely around SummerSlam; the week before, or at SummerSlam. In that range".

This is great news for Raw's writers. They've been dealing without Vaquer since she suffered an injury during her match vs. Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42 in April. Unfortunately, Steph's injury woes have hampered Liv's title reign - WWE's creative team hasn't really done much with Morgan as Women's World Champion in the interim.

The report also indicated that WWE bosses got the ball rolling on creative plans for Vaquer earlier than this week, but they decided to cool their jets on that until confirming that she's on the comeback trail. Again, this will be a massive boost to the women's division on Monday nights.

Of course, reigning Women's Champ and top SmackDown star Rhea Ripley remains injured herself, so things haven't exactly been smooth sailing for either top women's division belt lately. Neither Ripley's nor Morgan's title reigns have managed to properly get started quite yet.

As WrestleVotes noted, the Raw women's scene has noticeably struggled without Vaquer's influence. That just goes to show how much of a prized asset she's become despite dropping the title.

SummerSlam 2026 goes down across 1-2 August in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tickets haven't exactly been flying out the door for either night, so WWE will welcome any good news they can right now. Vaquer returning is certainly that.
