Luke Gallows And Karl Anderson NJPW Bound?
They'll also likely work for another promotion in U.S. between tours.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that former WWE stars Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson are expected to return to NJPW in the near future, though nothing has been officially confirmed as of yet.
This comes after Impact Wrestling released a promo for their upcoming Slammiversary PPV which included former WWE employees such as Gallows and Anderson, Drake Maverick, EC3, Mike and Maria Kanellis, Erick Young and Curt Hawkins. Maverick has recently re-signed with WWE, so it's clear he won't be appearing in Impact any time soon. However, it now seems that Gallows and Anderson won't be exclusively coming to the show, either.
It appears that NJPW is the most likely destination for the duo, although it has been said that they will likely work for another U.S. promotion in-between tours.
With FTR hinting at a possible match between the teams, could we see the former O.C. members pop up in AEW at some point? Will they make an appearance on the July 18 Slammiversary show? Or will they throw caution to the wind and do both?
Their 90-day no-compete clauses expire on July 15, so we'll know soon enough what is next for the under-utilised pair.
