Major AEW Prospect's Contract Due To Expire In May 2023
This AEW talent's current deal is up in just a matter of months.
Brock Anderson's current AEW deal is due to expire in just a matter of months.
The legendary Arn Anderson discussed his son's contract status during an interview with Steve Fall over at WrestlingNewsPremium.com, revealing that Brock's contract expires this May.
As Arn explained:
"Well, Brock's got about, I think in May his [contract] is up, and then I have another year passed that. I'm having a great time. I'm enjoying working for the company, and I'm going to certainly get that last year now. What they have for Brock and I together going forward, I don't know."
The iconic Enforcer of the Four Horsemen noted how he himself would "love to" remain with AEW "in some limited capacity" for "as long as they want me" once his current deal expires.
As for Brock Anderson, the 25-year-old has been with AEW since 2021. With no prior wrestling experience, Brock has honed his craft at the Nightmare Factory and was a member of the Nightmare Family stable during Cody Rhodes' time with the promotion.
More recently, Anderson has been paired up with fellow second-generation star Brian Pillman Jr., with Arn Anderson overseeing the duo. Of course, Arn was at one point joined in the Four Horsemen by Brian Pillman Sr., and many long-time fans are eager to see what these two second-generation talents can do as a tag team.
Brock and Pillman Jr.'s most recent outing was a to-be-aired contest against the Trustbusters' Sonny Kiss and Jeeves Kay. That match was taped on 28 January for a future episode of AEW Dark.
