Currently one of the greatest prospects in the wrestling business, AEW's Hook has now been announced to make his debut on the independent scene next month.

The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil has been confirmed to compete at Create a Pro's The Grand Stage event in Melville, New York on 14 May. Tickets for that show go on sale at 6pm tomorrow.

With only six matches under his belt by this point, Hook has already amassed quite the cult following since he first appeared on the 16 December 2020 episode of AEW Dynamite. Immediately aligning himself with his father's Team Taz stable, the 22-year-old brooded menacingly in the background before finally making his in-ring bow on the 8 December 2021 episode of AEW Rampage.

That debut saw Hook decimate Fuego del Sol, and he's since picked up victories over Bear Bronson, Aaron Solo, Serpentico, Blake Li and QT Marshall - with each of those wins coming in less than five minutes, and each being secured by submission.

While his six matches to date have all been swift, clinical affairs, it's the general aura and impressive technique of Hook that's particularly stood out, with him having become a must-see talent each and every time he's featured on AEW programming.
