Cameron Grimes is getting a makeover, reports WrestlingNews.co's Paul Davis.

The NXT 2.0 wrestler's image is stated as the reason he hasn't been moved to Raw or SmackDown yet. Davis writes that Vince McMahon wants to alter the "presentation of his character" before considering him for a call-up, which now looks set to manifest in the form of a makeover.

This week's episode of NXT 2.0 saw Grimes enter a new storyline with Grayson Waller, who wants to help him find love by getting rid of his chest hair and trimming his long beard. This makes it likely that Grimes' image change will come through the Waller program.

Grimes, 28, has been in the wrestling business since 2009. Trained by Matt and Jeff Hardy, he established himself as Trevor Lee on the independent circuit and in IMPACT Wrestling, before signing with WWE in 2019. He has become a developmental mainstay as Cameron Grimes, standing out primarily for his bold personality and gimmick.

Featured more prominently than ever in 2021, Grimes enjoyed a summer program with 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase that became a full-on feud with LA Knight. He won that feud in August, taking the Million Dollar Championship from Knight, then returning it to DiBiase.
