Major Changes Made To Last Night's AEW Dynamite
Backstage notes on understandable changes made to AEW Dynamite last night.
Last night's episode of AEW Dynamite did not air as originally intended.
Following on from Tuesday, when company founder and CEO Tony Khan granted any personnel worried about the impact of Hurricane Ian the week off, Fightful's Will Washington tweeted on Wednesday that several Florida-based wrestlers wouldn't be at that night's tapings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania:-
A few prominent performers who reside in Florida won't be at Dynamite/Rampage today.

Fightful Select has since revealed that Swerve Strickland and Samoa Joe were amongst the wrestlers who couldn't get to last night's Dynamite/Rampage tapings. Swerve's absence meant that his tag team partner Keith Lee had to work a backstage segment with The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn on his own. Joe, meanwhile, was pencilled in to be involved in a broadcast leaning heavily on Ring Of Honor, reigning, as he does, as the brand's Television Champion.
While there's no word on specific changes that had to be made to Dynamite as a result of these absences, Fightful note that a follow-up is forthcoming.
Hurricane Ian made landfall in the United States yesterday, with its impact leaving around 2 million people without power in Florida.
We wish any of our readers impacted by Hurricane Ian well as the storm continues.
