Major Former WWE Star To Sign For AEW In 2020?
Cryptic tweet foreshadows future of former WWE headliner?
Ryback may be the next former WWE Superstar to join the ranks of All Elite Wrestling following, if his recent on-the-nose Twitter teasing be believed.
'The Big Guy' uploaded an image of himself shaking hands with AEW supremo Cody in front of a Christmas tree with the caption "2020" as well as the "#FeedMeMore" slogan and links to his various online enterprises.
Assuming there's meat to this story beyond just two old friends meeting over the holidays (or an old picture of said old friends reframed for a fun wrestling work), TAFKA Skip Sheffield could be offering more than just an in-ring service to the AEW Executive Vice President.
Ryback hasn't wrestled full time for a major organisation since leaving WWE in 2016 following his Payback Kickoff loss to Kalisto, registering less than 40 matches in the near-four year absence from wrestling's brightest spotlight. A business relationship with Cody could extend beyond that, not least with AEW appearing more open to such offers than WWE may have appeared in the past.
The Nutrition and Media links within the tweet could highlight an entirely different working relationship between the two sides altogether, if indeed there is a relationship at all.
