Major Free Agent Signs With TNA Wrestling
One of the hottest free agents in the game has now officially signed with TNA.
Having battled Josh Alexander at TNA Hard to Kill back in January, Alexander Hammerstone has now officially signed with the Anthem promotion.
TNA announced Hammer's signing on the most recent iMPACT TV broadcast, and followed that news up with a formal press release. A former MLW World Champion, the powerhouse had been a free agent since the turn of the year when his MLW deal expired.
In addition to that Hard to Kill contest, Hammerstone was previously said to have had interest from both AEW and WWE, with the 33-year-old now joining TNA. Not just that, but the Arizona native will rematch against Josh Alexander at TNA Sacrifice from Windsor, Ontario this coming Friday.
Having made his in-ring debut back in 2013, Alexander Hammerstone first rose to prominence upon joining Major League Wrestling in 2019. As part of the Dynasty alongside MJF and Richard Holliday, Hammerstone became one of the most entertaining talents in the company, with him eventually embarking on a singles run which culminated with ending Jacob Fatu's record-setting 819-day reign as MLW World Champion. Hammer would then have his own impressive 644-day run with that title, dropping it to Alex Shane at MLW Never Say Never last July.
