Last night's edition of Monday Night Raw went through some fairly major changes just ahead of showtime.

Fightful Select noted the following late changes as;

"We're told that WWE Raw and Main Event changed "several times over." Zoey Stark vs. Natalya ended up being pulled from Main Event. Viking Raiders vs. Shelton Benjamin & Cedric was moved to Main Event. Cody was switched from opening the show to Jey Uso."

The changes were in response to a detailed Raw line-up the outlet had reported shortly before Raw went on the air. There, The Viking Raiders Vs Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander match was scheduled for the red brand before the shift to Main Event, and the aforementioned Zoey Stark/Natalya match was dropped completely. Stark still appeared on the broadcast, joining forces with Shayna Baszler to attack WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Chelsea Green and Piper Niven following 'The Queen Of Spades' singles victory over Green.

The Cody Rhodes/Jey Uso switch may explain why 'The American Nightmare' wasn't featured for all that long on the show. Rhodes was involved in a short segment involving Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh, while Uso's show-opening chat with Kevin Owens pivoted immediately into a match against Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Damian Priest and Finn Bálor.
