MAJOR Return On Friday's WWE SmackDown
WWE star spotted on television for the first time since August. Returns as a babyface!
Bianca Belair returned on Friday's episode of SmackDown and helped Charlotte Flair fend off members of Damage CTRL as the show ended.
This is the first time Belair has been spotted on mainline WWE programming since August. Most expected her to turn heel over the summer and either align with Bobby Lashley's new faction (which includes The Street Profits/her husband Montez Ford) or gun it solo, but it appears Bianca will remain a babyface for now.
Attacking Bayley's group is telling there.
Belair received a big reaction from fans live in the house for SmackDown, as you'd expect. Her character did look like one that needed freshening up before the August-October sabbatical though, so it'll be interesting to see if Triple H and his creative team make any tweaks.
Charlotte Flair was one of Bianca's chief rivals before losing the WWE Women's Title to IYO SKY at SummerSlam too. It might be jarring if the writers don't tie up that loose end and explain why Belair and Flair are now seemingly on the same page.
It is great to have Bianca back on TV, at least. She was missed.
