With many fans wondering how 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin will be utilised at WrestleMania 38 next month, it looks like the legendary Bionic Redneck has landed himself a true main event spot at the Showcase of the Immortals.

As per Reddit user kermit125 - who has broken several major 'Mania-driven stories in the past few weeks - Austin is due to close out Night 1 of this year's WrestleMania.

It's not stated whether Stone Cold will actually have any sort of match with Kevin Owens at the Granddaddy of Them All, but whatever Austin and Owens do will go on last at the first night of this two-night premium live event. Speaking on his Grillin' JR podcast, the Texas Rattlesnake's long-time close friend Jim Ross suggested that Austin will be doing more than just an interview segment or the usual physicality of hitting a Stone Cold Stunner or two on KO.

Additionally, it's also noted that Becky Lynch defending the Raw Women's Championship against Bianca Belair is currently earmarked to open Night 1 of WrestleMania 38, while the returning Cody Rhodes will face Seth Rollins on Night 2 of the event.

As for the main event of 'Mania 38 Night 2, that looks set to be Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar in a Winner Takes All contest for Reigns' Universal Title and Lesnar's WWE Title. The only other bout that seems to have even a remote chance of main eventing the PPV's second night is Ronda Rousey challenging for Charlotte Flair's SmackDown Women's Champion, but Roman vs. Brock seems a lock to close out Night 2 at this point.
