Darby Allin is now a two-time AEW TNT Champion, having felled Samoa Joe to reclaim the belt on last night's episode of Dynamite.

Joe and Allin's second match in four weeks came following the former's referee stoppage victory over Darby on Dynamite's 7 December episode. This one started in typically blistering fashion, with Allin blitzing Joe before the bell, employing dives, a ladder, and more. Things then slowed down and the expected clash of styles played out between the ropes, as the domineering, bullying Joe enacted his will on Allin, with him he continues to enjoy excellent chemistry.

The pinfall came following two Coffin Drops after a Code Red from Allin. Ticker tape fell from the rafters as he celebrated, with Sting hitting the ring to join the party.

In victory, Allin becomes the third person to hold the AEW TNT Championship more than once, following in Cody Rhodes and Sammy Guevara's footsteps. His first reign, from November 2020 to May 2021, is regarded among the finest in company history.

Joe, meanwhile, was champion for 46 days, succeeding rival Wardlow. He remains ROH World Television Champion, as that belt wasn't on the line last night.
