Following Jon Moxley's shock squash of CM Punk on last night's AEW Dynamite, many are pondering what that means for the upcoming All Out PPV.

Previously, Interim AEW Champion Moxley was due to meet AEW Champion CM Punk in a title unification match at All Out. Of course, Tony Khan brought that bout forward to this week's Dynamite, where the Death Rider picked up an easy win over the Second City Saint in just a matter of minutes.

Given how things went down last night, one could be forgiven for thinking that Punk was out of the AEW World Title picture for the foreseeable future, with some even questioning whether the Straight-Edge Superstar was set for another spell on the sidelines.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, though, the current plan is for Moxley and Punk to meet in a rematch at All Out on Sunday 4 September. While that contest has yet to be officially announced, there is speculation that there could be some sort of stipulation involved when these two butt heads once again.

With All Out now less than two weeks away, you'd have to imagine the PPV's AEW World Championship encounter will be announced sooner rather than later, with only three TV outings - Friday's already-taped Rampage, and next week's Dynamite and Rampage - left before All Elite Wrestling has to deliver something special for one of its biggest events of the year.
