Major Update On Bray Wyatt's AEW Debut
When and where the former Bray Wyatt could make his AEW debut.
Following the recent AEW acquisitions of Ruby Soho, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole and CM Punk, many are predicting that Bray Wyatt will be the next person to become #AllElite. And now, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has a major update on the three-time World Champion's current status and potential AEW debut.
Per the Observer, if Wyatt signs with AEW, the current plan would see him debut for the company on the 29 September episode of AEW Dynamite. That particular AEW outing will emanate from the Rochester, New York hometown of the late, great Brodie Lee.
It was originally believed that the real-life Windham Rotunda was under the standard WWE 90-day non-compete clause. If so, that would mean he wouldn't be able to wrestle elsewhere until 29 October, a fortnight before AEW Full Gear on 13 November.
This latest report would indicate that Wyatt either wasn't under the usual 90-day non-compete or he and WWE had negotiated something that allows the talented star to become a free agent a little earlier than expected.
Additionally, the Observer notes that the Eater of Worlds has held talks with IMPACT Wrestling, and if he doesn't debut for AEW on 29 September or shortly after then he may well turn up at IMPACT's Bound for Glory PPV on 23 October.
