In yet another indicator that his time with the market leader is coming to an end, as you can see above, Ricochet has been moved to the Alumni section of WWE.com.

Despite the One and Only now being listed alongside the likes of Rick Martel, Rick Steiner, Riddick Moss, and Rip Fowler, Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp noted on X how Ricochet is still under contract with WWE, but that the expectation is that he will be departing the company when his current deal expires.

As for that current deal, it was previously reported that Ricochet's contract is up at an unspecified time this summer, with some under the impression that this deal expires at some point in July. Either way, it doesn't sound like it'll be too long until the former Intercontinental Champion finds himself a free agent.

In terms of what's next for Ricochet post-WWE, there's obviously significant interest from the likes of AEW, TNA, and NJPW, or it could even be that the one-time Prince Puma opts to remain a free agent and pick and choose his dates. Regardless, the 35-year-old won't be short of suitors.

Written off WWE TV on the 10 June Raw after a vicious Bron Breakker beatdown, Ricochet has been with WWE since 2018.
