WWE's Survivor Series 2017 card received a huge boost last night. Raw General Manager Kurt Angle announced four inter-brand champion vs. champion bouts, with each of the red brand's top title-holders set to face their SmackDown counterparts, highlighted by Brock Lesnar vs. Jinder Mahal.

According to a new report from PWInsider, that match could be officiated by John Cena, who hasn't been seen since losing to Roman Reigns at No Mercy. A special referee's role could be used to build towards Cena vs. Mahal for the WWE Championship, which has been rumoured for WrestleMania 34.

Survivor Series will also feature several traditional 5-on-5 elimination matches. The men's bout could see Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon installed as team captains, as the SmackDown Commissioner led a force of blue brand superstars through last night's Raw. We'll likely learn more on tonight's show.

There'll be a women's 5-on-5 too, with Alicia Fox captaining the red side, and WWE also plan on booking a cruiserweight elimination match, with Enzo Amore, Drew Gulak, Noam Dar, Tony Nese, and Ariya Daivari facing Kalisto, Sin Cara, Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, and Mustafa Ali.

Finally, WWE also plan on booking Kane vs. Braun Strowman for November 19th, though 'The Monster Among Men' wasn't present last night.
