Will Ospreay took quite the tumble on AEW Dynamite...

One of the most impressive, athletic, and graceful pro wrestlers in the entire business - if not the most impressive, athletic, and graceful - AEW's Will Ospreay has proven that even he's susceptible to the odd comedy tumble now and again.

In the opening to last night's Dynamite, Ospreay and the Death Riders were shown backstage as Jon Moxley gave the group a ra-ra speech ahead of the show's opening match, where Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta would get a win over Mistico and Brodido. Full of his usual intensity and angst, Mox fired up his Death Riders pals, and the rest of the faction all locked arms and went around in a circle several times... which is when Will Ospreay lost his footing and went head over heels, falling in what appeared to be a large bucket.

Immediately, you could see Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and Marina Shafir struggle to keep a straight face, whilst Ospreay himself had to turn his back to the camera to hide his laughter.

Happy to poke fun at himself, the Aerial Assassin later responded to this clip on X, simply stating, "You gotta laugh."

For Will Ospreay, last night saw him tune up for Forbidden Door by defeating NJPW's El Phantasmo, a man he's extremely familiar with from their years in New Japan together and even back to the old Defiant days.

Of course, at Forbidden Door this Sunday, Ospreay finds himself going up against another familiar face, Swerve Strickland, as Will and Swerve square off in the final of the men's Owen Hart Cup tournament, with the winner of that match getting themselves an AEW World Title shot at All In at London's Wembley Stadium this August.
