Major WWE Prospect Suffers ACL Tear
This hugely promising WWE favourite is unfortunately set for a spell on the sidelines.
One of the most promising young stars under the WWE umbrella, Cora Jade looks set for an unfortunate spell on the sidelines.
Those in attendance at Friday's Dade City, Florida NXT house show saw Cora vs. Lyra Valkyria stopped due to what was believed to be a knee injury for Jade. Now, the Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer has taken to X to reveal that the star has indeed tore her ACL.
The Cora Jade knee injury from the weekend house show we talked about on the show last night is an ACL tear.

Making this even more frustrating for Cora Jade, is that she only returned to NXT at the Deadline special last month. That came on the back of nearly six months of in-ring inactivity, with her having been out of action since a loss to Dana Brooke back in July.
Based on recent NXT programming, it certainly appeared Cora was being set up for a shot at Valkyria's NXT Women's Championship - although many had tipped the Chicagoan for a main roster call-up in the near-future.
There's no word right now on how long Cora Jade will be out for, but here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery for the hugely talented 23-year-old.
