Monday's edition of Raw was supposed to feature a huge Halloween Party before the idea was apparently scrapped late in the day.

The October 31st show was a slightly spooky special, with branding and colour schemes adjusted to reflect the holiday and and a Trick Or Street Fight between Matt Riddle and Otis featuring various themed weapons shots and both men sporting costumes for the evening.

According to Fightful Select, there was set to be quite the soiree before plans changed;

"There were heavy elements prepared for a Halloween Party segment that were not used. A food fight with pumpkin pies was also pitched, as is tradition. This didn't end up happening...There were also a ton of extras that were planned for that who ended up going unused."

It's not made clear in the report if the party was supposed to take place in the ring and factor itself into an existing storyline, or be one of the usual WWE backstage affairs where the likes of Don Muraco and Rebecca DiPietro from the 2006 Diva Search drink punch in a badly lit room and share road stories.
