Per the insider account:-

Randy Orton is expected to be nearing a return, possibly even as soon as this weekend’s Money In The Bank. Orton has been out of action since May of 2022 with a serious back injury.

The WWE legend has been out of action since 20 May 2022, when he and Matt Riddle dropped the Raw Tag Team Championships to SmackDown counterparts The Usos in a 'Winner Take All' bout. Surgery then followed for Orton, 43, who had been dealing with serious back issues, sidelining him for the remainder of 2022.

There was talk, momentarily, of Randy potentially being forced into early retirement as a result of his injuries. Fortunately, this no longer appears to be the case. Recent reports on Orton's condition have painted a more optimistic picture.

Recently, Kurt Angle commented on his podcast that Randy was "doing good," having recovered from his back surgery. Orton's fellow former WWE Champion thinks he'll be back in the ring soon.
