Mark Henry is targeting an in-ring return "in the next six months", the WWE Hall of Famer revealed during a conversation on Sirius XM's Busted Open Radio.

After not wrestling for WWE since appearing in the Greatest Royal Rumble match in 2018, the current backstage producer appears to be working towards competing inside of the squared-circle once again. Henry told Busted Open Radio he aims to be in a match in the next six months, and wouldn't mind taking on Randy Orton in said encounter:

“I’d rather get punked out than to get my a– whooped. Randy (Orton) is not somebody to mess around with if you’re not 100%. Now I’m walking on two feet, I’m 325 pounds, I’m lighter, trimmer than I’ve ever been, and I plan on having a match sometime in the next six months. I just want to have one match, and if Randy is the guy, then so be it. Believe me, I’ll be ready and I won’t be on one foot on a push scooter.”

Henry was last seen on WWE television during January's Raw Legends Night, finding himself on the receiving end of some verbal bullying from the aforementioned 'Viper'. Someone else who was targeted by Orton on that night was Paul Wight aka Big Show, AEW's latest signing. When discussing his old sparring partner's latest move, Henry simply said:

"That’s my brother, man. As close to one as I’ve got in wrestling. I love him. I’m glad he landed somewhere where he feels appreciated. And I hope that we can see him get his just due."

Could Henry follow a similar path to Wight and attempt to pull off one last hurrah in the All Elite promotion? Perhaps Big Show's shocking departure will lead to WWE doing everything in their power to keep 'The World's Strongest Man' under contract. Whatever the result, Henry seems determined to show off his new lighter and trimmer physique in the ring.
