The card for August 19th is rapidly taking shape - and it looks pretty damn impressive.

The card for NXT's third annual Brooklyn Network special is beginning to take place, with five matches already confirmed, and one or two more potentially about to be added. This week on NXT, Johnny Gargano accepted a challenge issued by Andrade 'Cien' Almas' manager, Zelina Vega. Gargano vs. Almas has subsequently been confirmed for NXT Brooklyn: TakeOver III - the former's first Network Special appearance since being turned on by former tag partner Tomasso Ciampa.

The event will presumably be headlined by Bobby Roode vs. Drew McIntyre, the latest defence of Roode's championship. Women's Champion Asuka will again face Ember Moon in singles action, a rematch from TakeOver: Orlando at WrestleMania weekend. Elsewhere, the Authors of Pain will defend their tag team titles against SAnitY, represented by Killian Dain and Alexander Wolfe.

In non-title action, Hideo Itami will take on Aleister Black, a man still undefeated in NXT since debuting. Gargano vs. Almas rounds off the card in terms of announced matches so far.

As so often with TakeOver Specials, this looks to be a strong line-up - one which many will be expecting to overshadow SummerSlam the following night.

NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III will take place on August 19th, from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
