See that familiar white-and-gold belt around Matt Cardona's waist? Yes, that's a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship strap - and the former Zack Ryder is wearing it on a DDT show in Japan.

Kind of.

Cardona attracted attention for taking the WWE-branded championship to the ring for a match with DDT Universal Champion Tetsuya Endo at Wrestle Peter Pan 2023 this Sunday (23 July). This came just six days after Matt's wife, Raw star Chelsea Green, teamed with Sonya Deville to become Women's Tag Team Champions on Raw.

This wasn't Green's actual championship belt, though. Chelsea has hit Twitter to clarify that Cardona was carrying a replica, saying:-

"So I know that a lot of you guys saw that my husband won the DDT Pro Universal Title last night in Tokyo, and when he came out he brought one of the WWE Tag Team Titles with him. Well my friends, it is time to go back on Twitter and delete your ridiculously idiotic tweets... because it was a replica. I know! Shocking, right? I did not give my brand new beautiful piece of jewellery to my husband to take to Japan with him, no. It's right here, safe and sound in the arms of its rightful owner."

As Green stated, Cardona defeated Endo in his DDT debut match, becoming Universal Champion in the process.
