Matt Hardy Vs. Sammy Guevara "Broken Rules" Match Set For AEW All Out
This Saturday's pay-per-view gets a bloody new addition.
A huge grudge match has been added to this Saturday's AEW All Out 2020 lineup, with Matt Hardy facing Sammy Guevara in a Broken Rules bout.
Per AEW's Twitter account, the rules stipulate that this is effectively a Last Man Standing contest, though the finish can take place anywhere in the building. On top of this, Hardy will be forced to "leave AEW forever" in the event of a defeat.
Professional wrestling history tells us that the Loser Leaves Town part probably won't stick. Regardless, it's an appropriate escalation for a rivalry that has been simmering for months. Guevara vs. Hardy boiled over a few weeks ago, when Sammy smashed Matt's head open with a steel chair, and brought equally bloody developments in last week's tables match, in which 'The Spanish God' suffered a huge gash.
Here's how the All Out 2020 card looks at the time of writing:-
AEW World Title (Moxley Banned From Using The Paradigm Shift): Jon Moxley (c) vs. MJF
Mimosa Mayhem: Chris Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy
AEW Tag Team Titles: Kenny Omega & Hangman Page (c) vs. FTR
AEW Women's Title: Hikaru Shida (c) vs. Thunder Rosa
21-man Casino Battle Royale For World Title Contendership
The Dark Order (Brodie Lee, Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, Colt Cabana) vs. Scorpio Sky, Matt Cardona, and The Natural Nightmares
Broken Rules: Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara
