In an announcement that should surprise absolutely no one who has been paying attention to WWE Raw programming the past couple months, the Judgment Day will square off against four chief rivals in WarGames at Survivor Series later this month.

The purple-clad superstars will face World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso in the double cage match, the culmination of months of the eight wrestlers clashing in various combinations on Raw and at PLEs. Damian Priest and Finn Balor have traded the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship with Cody and Jey during the past month.

This past weekend at Crown Jewel alone, Rhodes defeated Priest, and Zayn toppled Judgment Day wannabe JD McDonagh. Sami also thwarted Damian's attempt to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on Rollins at Crown Jewel, which brought things to a fever pitch.

Monday, Rollins successfully defended his world title against Zayn, but immediately afterward, the Judgment Day pounced. Uso and Rhodes ran down for the save in yet another wild brawl involving the wrestlers, triggering Raw GM Adam Pearce to set the match for Survivor Series.

This will be the second year that the signature match that was the brainchild of Cody's father Dusty Rhodes will take place at Survivor Series. Previously, the WWE incarnation was limited to NXT. A women's WarGames match has yet to be announced.

Survivor Series will take place on 25 November.
