It looks like Mia Yim's delayed WWE SmackDown debut could go down on tonight's show.

Dave Meltzer writes in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that current plans have her featuring on today's episode. This could conceivably change before showtime, given WWE's permanent "Card is subject to change" disclaimer, but it sounds like Yim is currently on the runsheet.

As previously reported, Yim was due to debut on last week's episode of SmackDown but had her appearance cut due to time constraints. The former Reckoning was supposed to jump straight into a feud with established SmackDown roster member Carmella.

Yim hasn't featured for WWE since Fastlane 2021, where she walked out on Mustafa Ali during RETRIBUTION's break-up angle. She was quietly moved from Raw to SmackDown shortly after this.

It's been a while since fans have seen Yim between the ropes. Her last match came on the 31 December 2020 episode of Main Event, where she lost to Nikki Cross, having defeated the same opponent the previous week. She has wrestled a total of just four matches since departing NXT following a bout with Shotzi Blackheart on the black and gold brand's 26 August 2020 episode.
