Mick Foley wishes he'd "stuck around TNA about three months longer" so he could've wrestled a match vs. Hulk Hogan at least once.

The pair would never collide after cutting a few setup promos that seemed to be leading towards something in-ring. Mick left the company, and his dreams were dashed. However, the WWE Hall Of Famer told listeners tuning into his 'Foley Is Pod' show that he's under no illusions the bout would've been technically stunning.

In fact, Mick described the never-was encounter as one that would've been "methodical". Even so, Foley believes he and Hulk could've "told a good story" as rivals even at that stage in their respective careers.

Not matching up vs. Hogan when the 'Hulkster' jumped to WCW in 1994 (right before Mick left) is another regret. He would've been better-placed to bump around for Hulk back then, but it was never really on the cards due to Foley's imminent departure.

TNA was Mick's final chance to score a match with Hogan. He didn't stick around in the promotion long enough to see things through though.

Wrestling Hulk is very much one that got away for Mrs. Foley's baby boy.
