Miro hasn't been seen on our television for several months, but it looks like he'll be a fixture in AEW for the foreseeable future.

Fightful Select reports that Miro has re-signed with All Elite Wrestling, inking a four-year extension that will keep him with the company into 2026. The deal was agreed to late last year but was signed a while after. Surprisingly, Miro's original deal, which would have begun around the time he debuted in September 2020, was set to expire this spring. That's a bit unusual considering that most contracts are full years, and this would indicate that Miro's initial deal was an odd length.

Miro's last match was at Full Gear in November after he entered the world title eliminator tournament as an injury replacement. Before those two matches, he lost his TNT Championship to Sammy Guevara in September. Since November, Miro has been sidelined with a hamstring injury, though Fightful indicates that "he's been good to return for quite a while."

Before his injury, The Redeemer had been on fire as TNT Champion, using the "God's Favorite Champion" gimmick, which transitioned into Miro questioning and ranting at God after he lost the title.

Hopefully, we'll see Miro back in action soon enough.
