Missing AEW Name Returns Backstage After Long Absence
Another of AEW's long-missing stars was backstage lately.
The long-absent Parker Boudreaux was recently backstage at an AEW television taping.
Fightful Select reports that the former Mogul Affiliates man was at last Wednesday's (10 January) 'Homecoming' tapings in Jacksonville, Florida, where he visited friends and co-workers. This came over 10 months after his last match with the promotion.
There is currently no word on any imminent creative plans for Boudreaux, who has not appeared on AEW television for months. The 25-year-old had been recuperating from an injury while absent from the promotion.
Boudreaux signed with AEW in August 2022, having been released by WWE (where he worked as Harland on NXT) that April. Wrestling almost exclusively on Dark and Dark: Elevation, he was initially involved in the short-lived Trustbusters stable with Ari Daivari, Sonny Kiss, and Slim J, before joining Swerve Strickland's Mogul Affiliates alongside Trench, who is no longer with AEW.
The Affiliates have since merged with Prince Nana's Embassy to form the Mogul Embassy.
Parker's last AEW match saw him and Strickland team in a defeat to Dustin Rhodes and Keith Lee on the 3 March 2023 episode of Rampage. There is currently no word on when or if Boudreaux may return to television.
