Mixed Tag Match Made For WWE Elimination Chamber 2023
Edge and Beth Phoenix seeking revenge for Judgment Day attack last fall.
Obvious matches you can see a mile away are not necessarily bad things.
From Extreme Rules last year, it was fairly obvious we were going to see WWE Hall-of-Famers Edge and Beth Phoenix try to get their revenge on the Judgment Day. The couple returned at the Royal Rumble to thwart the group's efforts in the eponymous match, but that wasn't enough for them.
On Raw Monday night, Edge and Beth laid down a challenge to Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor for a mixed-tag match at Elimination Chamber, which the Judgment Day quickly accepted.
Things broke down into a brawl with Dominik Mysterio getting cornered and hoisted up by Phoenix, who sent a message to the absent Ripley by hitting a Glam Slam on her man. Dom nailed his bit by crying out for Mami while in Beth's clutches.

The match has some intriguing prospects. Edge and Balor is heavily rumored to be a singles match at WrestleMania, while Ripley is using her Royal Rumble win to challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship at Mania. Although that leaves the Glamazon without a dance partner for the biggest show of the year, Phoenix would make for a great early challenger against Rhea after Mania if/when she wins the title.
