A crazy situation played out during last week's AEW Dynamite/Rampage tapings in Long Island, New York, as MJF and Dax Harwood ejected a fan posing as an extra from the locker room.

Fightful Select note that UBS Arena security staff (not AEW security) let said fan into the backstage area. After making their way to the locker room, the fan parked themselves down in Dax's seat. When this was pointed out to him, he said "sorry", claiming that he was an extra.

Taking The Blade's seat instead, the fan started attracting suspicion amongst those in the locker room. AEW personnel started questioning him. When asked who trained him, the imposter said "Jeff Hardy", who doesn't work as a trainer. The interloper then answered with the name of somebody who has nothing to do with booking extras when asked who brought him in for the night. In addition, the fan lied about being friends with Taz.

The fan was ejected by the building by Harwood and MJF after being identified by another member of staff as the same person who was kicked out of the promotion's Boston, MA tapings in October. Fortunately, the matter was resolved without any degree of physicality.

There isn't believed to be any heat on AEW's security staff, with the responsibility falling on the venue's crew instead.
