MJF Has An INSANE Schedule At The Moment (AEW News)
MJF is running a schedule that'd make WWF/WWE stars in the 1980's blush!
No honeymoon, no problem. At least for now. Despite getting married recently, AEW man MJF will maintain a ridiculously busy schedule over the coming weeks. Fightful Select reports that Friedman went from his wedding to an episode of Collision "just to be a hater"; MJF was married to Alicia Atout on 5 September, then showed up to work on 6 September.
From there, he caught a flight out from Philadelphia to Winnipeg, Canada to work on the new Violent Night 2 movie, but will return to AEW screens for the 11 September Collision taping. After that, it'll be back to Winnipeg for more film goodness, then he's slated to headline opposite Mistico on CMLL's upcoming 92nd anniversary event on 19 September.
Wonder if they can outdraw Pikachu?
24 hours later, Friedman will be back in All Elite working vs. Mark Briscoe at All Out. That'll be quite the flight from Mexico to Toronto for AEW's latest pay-per-view. Phew! Then, after All Out is in the rearview mirror, MJF will get back on a plane and go straight to Winnipeg yet again to shoot more scenes for Violent Night 2.
This schedule would even make WWF/WWE stars from the 1980s blush! Workers had a notorious grind back in those days, and it often meant they had to put real life stuff on pause. MJF will surely enjoy a honeymoon with his new bride when the time is right, but that time won't be soon.
He's going Collision > Violent Night 2 > Collision > Violent Night 2 > CMLL > All Out > Violent Night 2, and he squeezed the most important day of his personal life in right at the start of that packed itinerary.
