Mortal Kombat Co-Creator Endorses WWE's The Miz As Johnny Cage For Sequel
Has The Miz just talked himself into a part in a Mortal Kombat movie?
The Miz has thrown his name in the hat when it comes to playing the role of Johnny Cage in an upcoming Mortal Kombat movie.
In the wake of the latest big screen adaptation of the well-known video game series landing on screens in the US (and controversially not in the UK, as of writing), former WWE Champion The Miz took to Twitter with a mock-up of himself in the part of action movie star/martial artist Johnny Cage.
Alongside the image, which has gone down a treat with fans online, The Awesome One tweeted:
"No Johnny Cage? I AM the special effects. Let me do the casting for you. Say cheese #MortalKombat @MKMovie @noobde"

Then, in an unexpected turn of events, none other than the co-creator of the Mortal Kombat video games, Ed Boon, commented on Miz's offer to embody the role of Cage, going as far as to admit he makes a "compelling case".

On top of this, fellow WWE star Xavier Woods, a die-hard fan of the series, also chimed in on Miz's post, admitting, "I really REALLY agree with this".
Would you pay to see The Miz kicking ass in an upcoming Mortal Kombat movie? Or would you prefer for him to stick to getting whooped by Damian Priest on Monday Night Raw?
