Mustafa Ali hasn't had the best time of it since the outbreak started. He was taken off TV, then set to become the mysterious "SmackDown Hacker" that appeared in vignettes for weeks, only for that idea to be nixed and him be quietly moved to RAW without any fanfare.

Now it seems like Ali might have been quietly moved (again), back to SmackDown, and a cryptic post on his Twitter page suggests their might be more of the Hacker to come.

Though the Hacker has been off TV for some time, with rumors suggesting the angle had been scrapped, Ali's move from WWE's websites RAW roster to SmackDown indicates first that he's back to his old stomping ground, but that also the "Hacking" vignettes that percolated throughout the blue brand might make be making return.

Ali's social media presence in recent weeks has been marked by similarly-cryptic tweets that some interpreted at jabs at WWE's handling of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Ex-WWE wrestler Ryback speculated on his podcast Conversations With The Big Guy that Ali's (real name Adeel Alam) outspokenness on social issues may have contributed to WWE's reluctance to use him on TV. Alam, a former police officer, has been vocally supportive of the Black Lives Matter movement, which is highly critical of law enforcement and the Trump administration, of which WWE chairman Vince McMahon is a supporter and his wife Linda is an official.
