MVP Has responded to a recent report on his heated exchange with Chris Jericho at a hotel following a recent episode of AEW Dynamite.

With said incident being said to have gone down in the wake of AEW's Houston May 18 edition of Dynamite, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter would report a showdown of sorts between the WWE and All Elite star within the hotel AEW performers were staying at. MVP currently resides in Houston, paving the way for a back-and-forth between the two at around 1am as Le Champion was reportedly chatting with Matt Hardy.

Before long, the pair of veterans were exchanging increasingly intense words, with many initially assuming MVP was merely kidding. In the end, Jericho was said to have uttered that he “doesn’t fight jobbers” before stepping into an elevator as MVP was "screaming" about the whole ordeal in the hotel lobby.

Despite all this, it was noted that “nothing bad happened." However, MVP has now broke his silence on the matter on Twitter, alluding to some of the aforementioned information not being entirely accurate:

“Even when they get the story right, they get the details wrong. Gotta love the dirt sheets. (smirking face emoji),”

One theory as to why this altercation came to pass was offered by The Observer, with it being suggested that the wrestlers had a "falling out" over an issue that stretches back "18 months ago". And while not noted specifically, that could hint at MVP's reaction to Jericho's tweet on the U.S. Presidential election in November 2020 being the root of this falling out.
